Have an app idea but no idea how to build it? This course takes you from a blank folder to a live web app with real user accounts, a real database and photo storage, in about two and a half hours.
You’ll use Claude Code to do the building. You describe what you want in plain English, review what Claude proposes, and steer it as it writes the code. GitHub keeps every version of your work backed up. AWS Amplify publishes the app online and updates it automatically whenever you approve a change.
Most beginner tutorials stop at a demo that lives on your laptop. This one takes you all the way to the way professional teams ship software. You’ll have a private dev site for safe experiments and a live main site for real users. You’ll test changes on development branches, promote the good ones to main, and roll back a bad release without losing your work. Your back end is real AWS infrastructure (login, database and file storage), and it’s defined in your project files, so it’s backed up along with everything else.
Along the way we build Recipe Box, a private recipe collection where each person signs up, logs in and manages their own recipes, tags and photos. Then you’ll get a prompt library and a build-your-own template, so you can apply the same steps to your own idea.
